Inspired by LDR and Wrestlemania, a group of friends and myself put together the semi-finals for the - Beast Fighting League (BFL). This personal project was quite a large amount of work but at the same time an incredible amount of fun and learning!

Sam and I are really good friends, with a deep passion for making monsters.
Originally I just wanted to sculpt a monster clay bust (which later became Flathead) inside ZBrush.
But I was seeking some guidance with Redshift, Texture / Lookdev training as well. At the same time Sam was looking for a model to Texture and Lookdev for fun. And so it started!
We decided to have two creatures one of which I gave him to texture, and Sam shared his insane knowledge in surfacing and lookdev. We talked about having a Wrestlemania inspired arena fight where our two monsters would battle, and as time went by we started involving more and more friends to help us through the project as it kept growing in scope. We've made a lot of friends through our carriers that are incredibly talented, and when they heard that we were trying to do monsters for fun, they jumped in to help us right away.
